As winter settles into Chastain Park, our local birds and wildlife face new challenges finding food and shelter. Join us for a special edition of Campfire Conversations, where community members of all ages will come together around the fire to learn how we can support Chastain’s wildlife during the colder months — and build something meaningful to take home.
During this hands-on workshop, participants will create their own DIY birdfeeder using simple materials, guided by our team. You’ll also learn about the birds that call Chastain Park home, what they need to thrive in winter, and small steps you can take in your own backyard to make a difference.
Whether you’re a longtime nature lover or just looking for a cozy, creative way to spend an evening outdoors, this event offers a fun and impactful way to connect with neighbors, nature, and the park we all love.
All materials will be provided. Just bring warm layers, curiosity, and a love for the outdoors.
