Each year it takes hundreds of volunteers to keep Chastain Park clean, green and safe!  Not only do we need volunteers to rake leaves, plant and clear trails, we also need people who are skilled at party planning, decorating and fundraising.

The Chastain Park Garden Club, founded in May of 1954, has organized many beautification projects to make the Park and surrounding neighborhoods a more enjoyable place for residents and visitors.  Members recently planted the flower boxes at the weather shelter located near the Red Parking Lot at the corner of Powers Ferry Road and Stella Drive.

A big "Green Volunteer Shout Out" goes to Holy Innocents' Episcopal School (HIES) Students have who assisted with multiple projects this spring.  In March, over a hundred students assisted with park clean up during the HIES day of service.  The group worked clearing trails and cleaning the amphitheatre.
