Chastain Park Garden Club - Adding Beauty Since 1954

The Chastain Park Garden Club, founded in May of 1954, has organized many beautification projects to make the Park and surrounding neighborhoods a more enjoyable place for residents and visitors.  Members recently planted the flower boxes at the weather shelter located near the Red Parking Lot at the corner of Powers Ferry Road and Stella Drive.

The 25 member garden club meets monthly from October through May and is led by co-presidents Peaches Brookshire and Ada S. Davis.  The club has taken on many projects ranging from donating and planting dogwoods to container planting and upkeep.  "We are delighted to work the Chastain Park Garden Club and other groups that share in the effort of beautifying Chastain for all our neighbors and park users," said Ray Mock.
