CPC Salutes 2013 Volunteers

Volunteers play a significant role in furthering the CPC mission to enhance, maintain, restore and preserve Chastain Park.  The Park has flourished due to the impact of the volunteersim of individuals and groups.

From performing maintenance and improvement projects such as raking leaves, clearing brush and planting to serving on special events fundraising teams and assisting with administrative tasks such as mailings and park user surveys, volunteers are an integral part of the Conservancy's efforts to support the Park.  In 2013 volunteers have invested over 12,000 hours into the Park.

Members of the North Fulton High School Class of 1970 gathered for their recent Annual Bonfire and Barbeque Reunion.  Proceeds raised benefit the CPC and its mission to restore, enhance, maintain and preserve Chastain Park.  Approximately 70 people attended the event held at the Chastain Park Conservancy Barn.
