Celebrating 10 Years!

The Chastain Park Conservancy celebrated its ten year anniversary with approximately 125 supporters and friends on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at the Chastain Horse Park.  The event highlighted completed park improvement projects and presented future initiatives that are scheduled to break ground in 2014. Attendees also had the opportunity to enjoy a presentation by WSB Radio host and Atlanta's favorite gardener, Walter Reeves, on native plants entitled "Going Native with Chastain."

To commemorate its 10th Anniversary, the Chastain Park Conservancy is kicking off a capital campaign to fund two exciting new park initiatives -- Walk Chastain and Play Chastain. The projects, which were outlined in the 20 year Master Plan, will solve critical safety and accessibility issues for park visitors.

Walter Reeves, 'The Georgia Gardener' and host of the WSB radio program "The Lawn and Garden Show," will be the keynote speaker at the Chastain Park Conservancy's 10th Anniversary Celebration Breakfast on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at 7:30 AM at the Chastain Horse Park.

"As a Conservancy, we believe in tradition and building community.  Holidays in the Park gives us an opportunity to create an experience for families and friends to share during the holiday season," said Rosa McHugh, CPC Executive Director.  "We are so appreciate of the organizations and businesses like Carson's for their role in raising funds and awareness for the CPC through sponsorship."
